What can be more American than Coca~Cola?
Here in Los Angeles, we have a choice: Original Coca~Cola or MexiCoke
MexiCoke is Coca~Cola bottled in Mexico and imported here.
Apparently, MexiCoke has had a cultish following for years now. Fans swear it tastes better than U.S.-made Coke because it uses natural cane sugar as a sweetener instead of high-fructose corn syrup.
And of course it is kind of cool to drink out of a glass bottle as opposed to plastic!
Well we did a blind taste test and the verdict is:
Original Coca~Cola
Although MexiCoke has a great, less sugary taste, the original is what's 'normal' in our opinion = Very difficult to compare the two, they should be completely separate beverages. There you have it.

ReplyDeleteOkay. That comment just cracked me up! I don't why, but interesting just sounded funny. Maybe I should go get dressed or something ... it's only 7:09 pm! On the other hand, I think I'll just put fresh jammies on for the fireworks (if they're not rained out.)
